Vesperal Freedom

Poetry accompanied by chamber music. 'Vesperal Freedom' is a musical framing of Kjell Espmark's poetry, read by Reine Brynolfsson to the accompaniment of violin and cello.

Don't miss this atmospheric concert in the Hall of State at Gripsholm Castle.

Kjell Espmark is one of Sweden's leading poets. His 'Vesperal Freedom' collection of poems addresses how artists such as Beethoven changed their language and expression towards the end of their lives.

The actor Reine Brynolfsson reads Espmark's poetry to the tones of classical chamber music performed by Erik Uusijärvi (cello) from Norrköping Symphony Orchestra and chamber musician Anders Lagerqvist (violin).
