Cancelled: The Romeo & Julia Chorus

The beautiful tones of the playful Romeo & Julia Chorus can be heard during a renaissance concert at Gripsholm Castle.

In accordance with the Public Health Agency of Sweden’s recommendations and the Government’s directives several of this spring’s programme events will be postponed or cancelled. Those who have already purchased tickets for these events will be contacted.

The Romeo & Julia Chorus boasts a repertoire of hundreds of songs from renaissance England, France, Italy and Spain, about love, melancholy, desire and joie de vivre.

The singers are accompanied by the lute – one of the most important renaissance instruments – as well as the double bass, guitar, percussion, harpsichord and piano.

The sumptuous renaissance costumes add to the sense of celebration and colour that has become the choir's trademark.
